Hiscall, Inc. Attends Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Still Rocking the Chamber 2012 Business Expo

Hiscall, Inc. will be participating in the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce 2012 Business Expo on May 1st.  The event is free to attend and more than 80 vendors will be present at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, TN.  Join us for an afternoon of networking and door prizes.

On May 1st, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a free Business Expo, Still Rocking the Chamber, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, 400 Highland Ave., Jackson, TN.  Hiscall Inc., specializing in Telephony, Structured Cabling, Data Networking, Nurse Call, Audio/Visual and CCTV, will be participating in the Expo.

With more than 80 vendors, door prizes throughout the day and networking, this promises to be a great event.  Hiscall will be bringing our Mobile Communication Center (MCC) to tour and participants can visit us inside for a chance to win a TicketMaster gift card.

The Expo is presented by Alexander Thompson Arnold, PLLC and Bancorp South and the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce.

Hiscall, Inc. Joins the Tennessee Health Care Association As An Associate Member

Hiscall, Inc. joins the Tennessee Health Care Association as an associate member.  THCA, founded in 1947, is an organization committed to high standards in long term care facilities in Tennessee.

Hiscall, Inc. is excited to become an associate member of Tennessee Health Care Association (THCA).  Hiscall joins THCA in their dedication to safety and welfare in long-term care facilities in the state of TN.  Hiscall has been a provider of Low-Voltage Cabling since 2002 and added Nurse Call systems in 2010.

Since its founding in 1947, THCA has been dedicated to helping maintain the high standards of licensed long-term care facilities in the Volunteer State.  THCA members include roughly 250 facilities with a combined total of approximately 28,000 patients. Members include nursing homes of all types – privately-owned, government operated and nonprofit – as well as some assisted care living facilities.

The mission of the Tennessee Health Care Association is to enhance the ability of its members to provide essential long-term care services for the elderly and disabled through education, advocacy and leadership.

Another organization of THCA is the Tennessee Center for Assisted Living (TNCAL).  Their primary focus is those residents in assisted living facilities and the unique challenges such facilities entail.

Hiscall, Inc. Participates In The Nashville Area Career Fair At The Williamson County Ag Expo Center

Dickson, TN – On February 14th, 2012 Hiscall, Inc. participated in the annual Nashville Area Career Fair at the Ag Expo Park in Williamson County.  The event is hosted each year by Nashville Area Career Fair Consortium and co-sponsored by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Career Fair is open to juniors, senior, graduate students and alumni from the 13 colleges and universities that make up the Nashville Area Career Fair Consortium.  Historically the fair has attracted over 1,500 participants and over 200 employers.

The Nashville Area Career Fairs Consortium is a cooperative effort of colleges, universities, employers, and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, that seeks to enhance the recruiting process for students, alumni, employers, and graduate schools by jointly promoting opportunities for employment and career development.

Colleges and Universities that make up the Nashville Area Career Fairs Consortium are Aquinas College, Athens State University, Austin Peay State University, Belmont University, Cumberland University, Lipscomb University, Fisk University, Martin Methodist College, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, Tennessee Tech University, Trevecca Nazarene University and Vanderbilt University.
