Structured Cabling Design & Wiring Systems
If an organization is a living organism, its cabling infrastructure is its central nervous system, ensuring the reliability, performance and flexibility of all critical data, voice and video communications systems. Regardless of how large or how small an organization is, and regardless of what industry it's in, the design of its structured cabling system will considerably impact its daily productivity and operations. Structured cabling systems that are either improperly designed, or cabling that is minimally compliant, can compromise an organization's speed of service and its ability to adequately adapt to new demands as the new applications are introduced.
Structured cabling design is a highly specialized field. Developing the level of proficiency required to stay current with today's technology demands advanced, ongoing education and training. Few organizations can justify making the investment necessary to have that kind of expertise on staff.
However, an advanced level of cabling expertise is exactly what organizations need as they erect new facilities, expand or renovate existing facilities or implement new applications that may strain the capacity of their existing cabling infrastructure.
Hiscall designers are RCDD (Registered Communication Distribution Designers) certified and are available to partner with organizations in whatever role required - as limited or comprehensive as that role may be.
For instance, in addition to operating as members of the Hiscall team that designs and installs a structured cabling systems, Hiscall consultants also act in a traditional 3rd party consulting role - an expert partner that assists organizations in determining their cabling needs, writing their cabling RFPs and compiling and analyzing the RFP responses received from outside cabling suppliers.
Speed of service, warranty and backwards compatibility issues are all indicators of obsolete or minimally compliant structured cabling systems. Hiscall's structured cabling consultants estimate and design structured cabling systems that not only meet the present-day requirements of an organization's communications system, but that will provide the capacity, adaptability and expandability needed to "future proof" the organization as it and technology continues to evolve.
