During an AudioCodes training last week at Hiscall, Inc. we had a great time, won prizes, and learned a little bit more about the services AudioCodes offers. Gatways serve as a protocol converter that interconnects two or more disparate networks, both physically and logically. Don Atwood Jr., Hiscall’s Senior Systems Engineer, explained gateways as a translator, “gateways allows two devices that speak two different data networking languages to communicate with each other.”
