When a storm knocks out one building, residents still expect someone to answer the phone and know what's going on. Not three vendors arguing about whose system is down.

Hiscall designs, installs and supports phone systems, access control, cameras, cabling and disaster recovery for local government entities nationwide. One certified team installs it, and the same team answers when you call.

A well-run department depends on a resident being able to reach the right person, a public building staying secure, and the phones and records still working if a site goes down. Most vendors sell you one piece of that and leave the rest to someone else. Hiscall designs the whole path, from the handset to the badge reader to the failover, and supports all of it with the same certified technicians who installed it.

How it fits together

One call to a department, and what has to keep working behind it

When it is designed as one path, a routine day and a bad one both hold up. When it is not, an outage is the moment you find out how many vendors you actually depend on.

Why one team

What actually changes when one team owns the whole system

A department that buys phones, cameras and disaster recovery from three vendors owns the gaps between them too. Here is what that costs in practice.

Built for government, not adapted to it

Four capabilities that general low voltage contractors typically do not carry.

  • Disaster recovery for voice & data. Keeps phone lines and records available when a site goes down, so essential services don't depend on a single building staying up.
  • Access control & ID badge printing. Controls entry to public buildings, records rooms and restricted areas, with printed badges for staff and visitors.
  • Digital signage & multimedia presentations. Keeps citizens informed at public counters, council meetings and lobbies, on a routine day and during an emergency.
  • Sound systems & acoustic solutions. Clear audio for council chambers and public meetings, plus sound masking for offices that handle sensitive matters.

What we install

Every system across the department, from one team

Most agencies buy each system from a different vendor, then spend years getting them to talk to each other. We put them on one design and one support relationship.

  • Public safety and administrative buildings. Access control and CCTV at controlled entry points, with ID badge printing for staff and visitors.
  • Utility and public works departments. Reliable dial tone, data networking and disaster recovery for operations that residents depend on.

How we work

Five steps, and you know who to call at each one

Step 01

Survey

We come to you at no charge, look at what is already in place, and tell you honestly what should be replaced and what has life left in it.

Step 02

Design

You get a documented scope and clear pricing. For a multi-building campus, we design one standard that repeats cleanly across every location.

Step 03

Install

Installation is coordinated around public hours and building access, not around us.

Step 04

Train

On-site sessions for administrative, facilities and IT staff, repeated as often as your team needs it.

Step 05

Support

You call us directly, not a queue, with 24/7/365 emergency response and unlimited moves, adds and changes.

Local technicians, coverage across the Midsouth and beyond

Two Tennessee offices put a certified Hiscall employee close by. Cloud-managed systems let us monitor, configure and resolve a great deal remotely, so a multi-building footprint costs you far less time than it used to.

  • Dickson. Corporate headquarters and 25,000 square foot distribution facility, serving Middle Tennessee and the Nashville region. Reach the Dickson office directly at (615) 740-7771.
  • Knoxville. Branch office at 4620 Old Broadway, serving East Tennessee since 2001, with the same certified technicians and the same emergency response. Reach the Knoxville office directly at (865) 862-4650.
  • You reach a person. You work directly with a trained, certified, Hiscall-badged employee. Your needs are not outsourced to a call center overseas.
  • Beyond our two offices. We also have employees based in West Tennessee and Kentucky, and we support customers throughout the Midsouth region and several nationwide.

Continuity and public trust are not the only reason a system has to work as one path. Every industry below gets the same design and support approach.

Questions we hear

Frequently asked questions

Can your systems meet our continuity and disaster recovery requirements?
Yes. Phone systems are built with disaster recovery for voice and data, so calls and records keep moving if a site goes down. Because the phone system, cameras and access control are designed together, continuity does not depend on any one building staying up.
Do you work with multiple departments or a whole campus?
Regularly. We design one standard system that repeats cleanly across every building, so a new department or location gets the same phones, cameras and access control as the rest of your government entity, installed and supported by the same team.
Is the site survey really free?
Yes. We walk the building, document what is in place, and give you a scope and a price. There is no charge and no obligation to proceed.
Who answers if something goes down after hours or during an emergency?
A Hiscall employee. We are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year for emergency response. Support is not outsourced, and the technicians who answer are the ones who know your installation.
Do you serve government entities outside Middle Tennessee?
Yes. Hiscall supports customers throughout the Midsouth region and several customers nationwide, with offices in Dickson since 1995 and Knoxville since 2001, and employees based in West Tennessee and Kentucky. Cloud-managed systems also let us handle a large share of monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting remotely, which extends how far we can support a department well.
Can you phase the work across a fiscal year or budget cycle?
Yes. We can scope the project in phases that fit your fiscal year and document each phase clearly, which makes approval straightforward for a council, commission or finance office.

Tell us what your department needs.

We will walk the building, look at what is already there, and give you a straight answer about what to replace and what to keep. No charge for the survey.
