Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue, based in Burns, TN, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide shelter and loving care for animals who have been abandoned, abused or destined to be euthanized due to overcrowded shelter conditions.  Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs provides veterinary care, love and all necessities until responsible, loving homes can be found for all adoptable pets.  Pages with pictures and stories of adoptable pets, avenues for donations and more are available at

Proverbs will use the van as a lifeline to rescue animals from deplorable conditions and to transport sick and injured animals to local veterinarians.  As soon as the animals are able, they are transported to foster homes until uniting with their forever, loving homes.  Mrs. Redferrin gratefully accepted the van noting that the need is overwhelming, and the Luffmans’ generosity will help save countless animals’ lives.  Mrs. Redferrin told Mr. Luffman, “I want to thank you for donating to those that have no voice.”
